Our Foundation
St. Ann's College DDL, Abakpa Nike, Enugu, began in 1980 as a vocational and home management center within the Daughters of Divine Love Convent (DDL). It was founded by Rev. Sr. Arinze Emenike under the directive of Mother M. Angela Uwalaka to empower young women, particularly the less privileged.
Initially accommodating 40 students, the institution received approval as a vocational school in 1987, enabling students to take external examinations such as WAHEB, NABTEB, and GCE.
